Heath Wood ring pin

An interesting style of ring pin, a copy of an example from the Heath Wood Viking cemetery in Derbyshire. Rather than a conventional ring, it sports a circle cut from a piece of sheet and decorated with radial lines. I would speculate that the hole in the sheet brass must have been punched by the same tool used for punching blank coins. ~13cm pin
